DETOX RETREAT
INHABITATIONS - RETREAT DESIGN
Against the backdrop of environmental pollution, food safety and psychological stress, people are beginning to attach importance to mental and physical detoxification and the pursuit of physical and mental purity. In this project, the original hotel building was renovated to create a detoxification space with different colours, and the structure of the hotel was changed so that the detoxification system of Chinese herbal medicine is used throughout the detoxification space. The new material of medicinal tiles is used to give a new olfactory experience of detoxification, creating a detox retreat.
CONCEPT AND STORYBOARD
Matched by studying the psychological sensations of different colours on people and their detoxification activities in retreat. A cycle from water to herbs to people's activities in the retreat is discussed through a study of the need for herbal vegetation.
The diagram shows the colours used for the different functional zones and opens up each floor in the middle on the right side of the space, allowing the planting space to run through the detoxification space and allowing the roof above to be glazed to bring in more natural light and views.
